Seasoned Oven Fries Recipe Betty
This video shows Betty a delicious low-fat alternative to french fries - they cooked seasoned Fries. Seasoned with spices and baked until crispy Italian, who lost, then you are never fat! Ingredients: 1 cup seasoned Italian bread crumbs 28 oz package frozen steak fries 3 eggs, well beaten 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted Vegetable oil spray In a bowl, beat 3 eggs with an electric mixer. Set aside. Place 1 cup of seasoned bread crumbs in a gallon size zip-lock plasticPocket, and set aside. Spray a 15-inch baking pan sprayed with 10-inch oil. Dip steak fries, a bit 'at a time, into the beaten eggs. Put the bag of French fries dipped in bread crumbs. Close the bag and shake until the potatoes are coated. Put the potatoes in a single layer on prepared baking pan. When all are fried coated, drizzle with melted butter or margarine evenly over the top. Bake at 400 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes, or until golden and crispy. Remove from pan and serve a nice dish andimmediately. These taste as good or even better than regular chips, but much less fat!
